The Fund for Cultural Management of the University of Antwerp wishes to contribute to the knowledge and appreciation of the specific quality of cultural management through the organization of colloquia, research awards and debates.
Established in 1992, ENCATC is the European network on cultural management and policy. With a network of more than 100 member institutions and professionals in over 40 countries, ENCATC stimulates the debate between academics, policy makers and professionals.
Sarah Gardner
With 16 years as the founding director of IFACCA, the international network of national arts funding agencies, Sarah Gardner has had a unique opportunity to observe developments in national and international cultural policy. While the question of financing, austerity measures and grant structures are certainly of interest to the sector there are many global issues that are also having an impact on cultural policies.
